Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the BIT team lead, the MES Project Leader will primarily be responsible to lead projects with different stakeholders in- and outside of the comapny. He/she will make decisions and deliver the complete project on time. He/She needs the understanding to setup, analyze, design, test and deploy MES systems based on the solution from MPDV HYDRA.

He/She also will keep existing installations up to date and provide support.

 

In addition, we are looking for an understanding of the interfaces between different systems, regarding transferred data and “state-of-the-art” technologies in use.

 

The MES Project Leader will lead MES projects with focus of global standardization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the complied MES project on time, in cost and the required quality.
  • Manage assigned resources for the implementation of project related activities.
  • Prepare and maintain all project documentation such as; initiation, delivery plans and budgets.
  • Manage the supplier relationships in- and outside of the company.
  • Analyze and define solutions within the Incident- and Change-Process.
    • Understand the business needs.
    • Suggest areas of improvement.
    • Develop functional specifications and system design specifications.
    • Recommend technical solutions.
  • Knowledge in IT and state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Take responsibilities in the 2nd level support.
  • Run trainings for key users.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with MES systems preferred is “MPDV HYDRA”
  • Good understanding in state-of-the-art production processes.
  • Good understanding of production quality processes.
  • Understanding of data relational models.
  • Knowledge about project management.
  • Ability to manage client’s expectations effectively.
  • Experience with managing multiple external partners in parallel.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Hands on mentality.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Team player with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English is a must.
  • Self-driven, likes to work in a team.
