About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service Consultant with specialist expertise in Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO) to support the configuration and implementation of scheduling and planning functionality.

The role will focus on configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service's RSO capabilities to meet specific business planning requirements, within an environment integrated with Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on RSO experience, having successfully configured and implemented the solution across multiple projects.

The consultant will be required to spend a couple of days onsite at the office in Antwerp, Belgium, to collaborate with the team and understand the business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the configuration and setup of Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO) within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service.
Analyse business planning and scheduling requirements and translate them into effective RSO configurations.
Configure scheduling parameters, resource availability, optimisation goals and scheduling constraints.
Ensure RSO functionality aligns with existing Dynamics 365 Field Service processes and the connected Business Central environment.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational workflows and resource planning challenges.
Provide expert guidance on RSO capabilities, configuration options and best practices.
Troubleshoot scheduling issues and optimise configurations to improve planning efficiency.
Support testing, validation and refinement of the RSO solution.
Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal teams on maintaining and using the configured solution.

Key Requirements

Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service.
Expert-level knowledge of Resource Scheduling Optimization (RSO), including configuration, setup and optimisation.
Proven experience successfully implementing RSO across multiple projects.
Strong understanding of resource scheduling, planning requirements and optimisation processes.
Experience configuring scheduling rules, resource constraints and optimisation objectives.
Ability to translate business requirements into practical system configurations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently and provide specialist technical and functional guidance.
Availability to attend the Antwerp office for a couple of days.

Desirable Experience

Experience working with Dynamics 365 Field Service environments integrated with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Understanding of Business Central processes and their relationship with Field Service operations.
Experience supporting complex resource planning and scheduling implementations.
Previous experience delivering RSO optimisation or improvement projects.
Dutch language skills are preferred, although English-speaking candidates will also be considered.
