About the role

We are looking for a D365 Finance Functional Analyst to support the delivery and ongoing improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You will work closely with finance stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements, configure solutions and improve financial processes.

Key responsibilities

Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
Configure and support D365 Finance across areas such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash and bank management, and budgeting.
Review finance processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and system functionality.
Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with business needs.
Work with developers and integration specialists to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
Support data migration, reconciliation and validation activities.
Prepare test scenarios, carry out functional testing and support user acceptance testing.
Investigate system issues and provide day-to-day functional support.
Create process documentation and deliver training to end users.
Support system releases, go-live activities and post-implementation improvements.

Skills and experience

Previous experience as a Functional Analyst or Functional Consultant working with D365 Finance.
Strong understanding of core finance processes and how they are supported within D365.
Hands-on experience with system configuration, requirements gathering and functional documentation.
Experience supporting implementations, enhancements or ongoing system operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with finance users and technical teams.
Experience with functional testing and user acceptance testing.
Availability to work on site in Bucharest 3 days per week.
