About the role

We are looking for a D365 SCM Functional Analyst to support the delivery and ongoing improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. You will work closely with operational stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements, configure solutions and improve supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
• Configure and support D365 SCM across relevant areas, including procurement, inventory management, sales orders, warehouse management and master planning.
• Review supply chain processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and system functionality.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with business needs.
• Work with developers and integration specialists to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
• Support data migration and validation activities for products, suppliers, inventory and other supply chain data.
• Prepare test scenarios, carry out functional testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Investigate system issues and provide day-to-day functional support.
• Create process documentation and deliver training to end users.
• Support system releases, go-live activities and post-implementation improvements.

Skills and experience

• Previous experience as a Functional Analyst or Functional Consultant working with D365 Supply Chain Management.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and how they are supported within D365.
• Hands-on experience configuring one or more core SCM areas, such as procurement, inventory, warehousing or planning.
• Experience gathering requirements and preparing functional documentation.
• Experience supporting implementations, enhancements or ongoing system operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with business users and technical teams.
• Experience with functional testing and user acceptance testing.

Desirable

• Experience with manufacturing, production control or advanced warehouse management.
• Understanding of integrations between D365 SCM and other business systems.
• Experience with Power BI or supply chain reporting.
• Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification.
