Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Planning

  • Define and manage the overall test strategy, plans, and scope for the banking project.

  • Ensure testing coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.

• Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of QA testers (functional & automation).

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the testing team, business analysts, project managers, and developers.

  • Organize and facilitate test-related meetings, status reports, and sign-off sessions.

• Execution Oversight

  • Monitor test execution progress, track defects, and manage risks/issues.

  • Ensure proper use of test management tools and adherence to processes.

  • Support defect triage meetings and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.

• Governance & Reporting

  • Report regularly on test progress, quality metrics, and risks to project leadership.

  • Prepare documentation for audits and compliance, aligned with banking sector standards.

  • Participate in steering committees when required.

• Continuous Improvement

  • Identify gaps in testing processes and propose improvements.

  • Promote best practices in QA governance and test lifecycle management.
