Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Planning

Define and manage the overall test strategy, plans, and scope for the banking project.

Ensure testing coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.

Team & Stakeholder Management

Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of QA testers (functional & automation).

Act as the primary point of contact between the testing team, business analysts, project managers, and developers.

Organize and facilitate test-related meetings, status reports, and sign-off sessions.

Execution Oversight
-
Monitor test execution progress, track defects, and manage risks/issues.
-
Ensure proper use of test management tools and adherence to processes.

Support defect triage meetings and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.

Governance & Reporting
-
Report regularly on test progress, quality metrics, and risks to project leadership.
-
Prepare documentation for audits and compliance, aligned with banking sector standards.
-
Participate in steering committees when required.

Continuous Improvement
-
Identify gaps in testing processes and propose improvements.

Promote best practices in QA governance and test lifecycle management.
