Key Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience with SAP FICO in complex enterprise environments
  • Proven track record leading SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and large-scale transformation programmes
  • Deep expertise in both:
    • Financial Accounting (FI): GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Financial Closing
    • Controlling (CO): Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
  • Strong ability to lead end-to-end solution design, architecture, and configuration
  • Advanced configuration knowledge:
    • Chart of Accounts design and optimisation
    • Intercompany accounting and reconciliation
    • Tax configuration and statutory compliance setups
  • Experience leading financial close processes (month-end, quarter-end, year-end) across multiple entities
  • Strong understanding of integration with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments (highly desirable)
  • Strong involvement in data migration, cutover planning, and testing strategy
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools (SAP Fiori, SAP BW, or Power BI)
  • Ability to define functional specifications and oversee technical development
  • Strong leadership in workshops, requirements gathering, and solution governance
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and leading functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager or equivalent tools
  • Strong stakeholder management at business and executive level
  • Experience working in global, multi-country implementations
  • SAP FI/CO certification (strongly preferred or required in many roles)
