About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AI Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of AI-driven products and solutions.

This role requires a combination of technical AI knowledge, product ownership and commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities where AI can deliver genuine business value.

The ideal candidate will act as an AI Champion within the business, bridging the gap between technical teams, stakeholders and commercial objectives to drive AI adoption, innovation and product development.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage the AI product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and commercial priorities.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation and emerging technologies to improve business processes and customer experiences.
Act as an AI Champion, promoting AI adoption and best practices across the organisation.
Collaborate with technical teams, developers and business stakeholders to design and deliver AI-powered solutions.
Translate business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories and development priorities.
Evaluate AI technologies, tools and platforms to identify suitable solutions.
Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept and development through to implementation and optimisation.
Assess the commercial viability, business impact and ROI of AI initiatives.
Monitor product performance, user adoption and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure AI solutions are developed responsibly, with consideration for data security, governance and compliance.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in Product Ownership, Product Management or a similar role.
Strong technical understanding of AI technologies, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-driven automation.
Experience working with technical teams to develop and implement AI solutions.
Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify business opportunities and demonstrate product value.
Experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs and stakeholder requirements.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
A proactive approach to AI innovation, adoption and continuous improvement.

Desirable Experience

Hands-on experience with AI platforms, tools or frameworks.
Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, OpenAI technologies or similar solutions.
Experience developing or commercialising AI-powered products.
Understanding of AI governance, data privacy and responsible AI practices.
Experience delivering AI transformation or automation initiatives.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product development frameworks.
