About the Role

We are looking for an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Data Migration Consultant to support the successful migration and import of business data into a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP environment.

The successful candidate will bring broad and hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations, with a strong understanding of data migration, data importing and ERP processes. You will work within a complex enterprise environment, collaborating with functional and technical teams to ensure data is accurately prepared, migrated and successfully imported into D365 F&O.

Finnish language skills are considered an advantage but are not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the import and migration of data into D365 Finance & Operations.
• Manage data migration activities from legacy systems and other source systems into the D365 F&O ERP.
• Analyse, cleanse, transform and validate data prior to import.
• Develop and maintain data mapping and transformation requirements.
• Use the D365 F&O Data Management Framework (DMF) and data entities to facilitate data imports.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation and quality checks following migration.
• Identify and resolve data issues, inconsistencies and migration errors.
• Support multiple rounds of data migration, including mock migrations and testing.
• Work closely with functional consultants, developers, technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ensure migrated data meets business and system requirements.
• Support cutover activities and the final migration into the live ERP environment.
• Provide support following migration and resolve any data-related issues.

Essential Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Proven experience in data migration and importing data into ERP systems.
• Experience using the D365 F&O Data Management Framework (DMF) and data entities.
• Good understanding of data extraction, cleansing, transformation, mapping and validation.
• Experience working with complex enterprise environments and large datasets.
• Ability to understand both technical data requirements and wider business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively alongside both functional and technical teams.

Desirable

• Finnish language skills – advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory or other ETL tools.
• Strong SQL/database experience.
• Experience across D365 F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement or Manufacturing.
• Experience supporting full-cycle D365 F&O implementations.
• Previous experience with ERP data migration projects.
• Experience supporting cutover and go-live activities.

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have broad, hands-on D365 F&O experience combined with strong data migration and ERP data-import capabilities. You should be comfortable working in a complex enterprise environment and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure business data is accurately prepared and successfully imported into D365 F&O.

Finnish language skills would be beneficial, particularly when working with local stakeholders, but are not a requirement for the role.
