We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a growing technology team and play a key role in designing, building and maintaining scalable data solutions.
You will work across the full data lifecycle, developing robust data pipelines and infrastructure that enable teams to access reliable, high-quality data for reporting, analytics and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Develop and optimise data models, data warehouses and data platforms.
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.
- Ensure data is accurate, consistent, secure and accessible.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and resolve performance or quality issues.
- Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Software Engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Transform complex datasets into structured and usable data assets.
- Implement data quality, validation and governance processes.
- Optimise existing data infrastructure and processes to improve performance and scalability.
- Contribute to the development of data engineering best practices and standards.
- Document data architecture, pipelines and processes.
- Stay up to date with emerging data engineering technologies and approaches.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience working as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused engineering role.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL or similar languages.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with data warehousing and data modelling.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Strong understanding of data structures, data integration and processing.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on data quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
