Solution Architect – AI & Enterprise Integration

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions combining cloud technologies, system integrations and AI-driven capabilities.

This role will involve working closely with enterprise clients to understand their business requirements, define technical architectures and support the successful delivery of solutions incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI agents.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical architecture experience, excellent stakeholder management skills and a practical understanding of deploying AI solutions within secure, enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery workshops with enterprise clients to understand business requirements and define solution architectures.

• Design end-to-end solutions integrating core W-OS services with enterprise systems and AI capabilities.

• Define integration architectures covering APIs, authentication, data flows and SaaS multi-tenancy.

• Design solutions incorporating LLM functionality, RAG, knowledge graphs and AI agent workflows using client-approved data.

• Produce architecture diagrams, technical specifications, non-functional requirements and implementation roadmaps.

• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure proposed architectures are practical, scalable and deliverable.

• Establish evaluation frameworks, acceptance criteria and accuracy benchmarks to measure AI solution performance against client data.

• Define AI agent governance, including autonomy levels, approval processes, audit trails and accountability.

• Advise clients on appropriate AI approaches, including RAG, fine-tuning and agent-based solutions.

• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, observability and multi-tenant isolation requirements.

• Support proof-of-concept development, pilot programmes and production deployments.

• Identify and mitigate technical risks relating to data residency, latency, system performance and AI model behaviour.

• Contribute to technical pre-sales activities, solution scoping and the development of reusable architecture patterns.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure or related technical roles.

• 3+ years of experience in client-facing Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture or Technical Architecture.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, authentication and enterprise data flows.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies and SaaS architectures.

• Solid understanding of multi-tenancy, security, compliance and enterprise architecture principles.

• Familiarity with Python and/or Java, with the ability to review APIs and troubleshoot integration issues alongside engineering teams.

• Experience designing, scoping or deploying LLM-based solutions within enterprise environments.

• Understanding of RAG, AI agents and the practical application of Generative AI technologies.

• Experience defining solution acceptance criteria, performance benchmarks and evaluation approaches.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and client-facing skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience designing agentic AI solutions and autonomous workflows.

• Knowledge of vector databases, knowledge graphs and enterprise data retrieval architectures.

• Familiarity with AI governance, model evaluation and responsible AI practices.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps and cloud-native deployment patterns.

• Understanding of observability, auditability and security requirements for AI-enabled SaaS platforms.

• Experience supporting technical pre-sales, proof-of-concept development and enterprise solution demonstrations.

• Background in developing reusable integration patterns and scalable architecture frameworks.
