Key Requirements:

End-to-End Workday HCM Testing Leadership

  • Own and drive full lifecycle Workday HCM testing activities on the customer side, including System Testing, Integration Testing, UAT, and Go-Live readiness.

  • Lead and structure all HCM testing workstreams, ensuring clear governance, coordination, and accountability.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, schedules, and execution frameworks aligned to overall program milestones.

  • Actively participate in hands-on test execution, defect management, triage, retesting cycles, and readiness assessments.

Advisory & Consulting Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders and program leadership, providing best-practice guidance across Workday HCM Core configuration, testing strategy, and operational readiness.

  • Apply deep expertise in Workday implementation methodology, understanding both its strengths and limitations, and proactively enhance standard processes where additional rigor is required.

  • Identify program risks and gaps early, offering pragmatic, solution-oriented mitigation strategies to maintain delivery momentum.

Documentation & Operational Readiness

  • Support the development of key production operating model artifacts, ensuring testing outputs align with post-go-live support requirements.

  • Contribute to the creation of high-quality documentation supporting:

    • End-user and administrator training

    • Transition to steady-state production operations

Collaboration & Regulatory Alignment

  • Partner closely with functional, technical, and business stakeholders across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Ensure testing strategies and outputs reflect U.S. and Canada regulatory and operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as a Workday HCM Advisor, Test Lead, or equivalent role across full lifecycle Workday implementations.

  • Proven ability to balance hands-on delivery with leadership and governance responsibilities.

  • Strong knowledge of Workday HCM modules and end-to-end business processes.

  • Deep understanding of Workday implementation methodology and where enhanced controls or artifacts may be required.

  • Demonstrated consulting mindset — advisory, pragmatic, and delivery-focused.

  • Experience leading testing through go-live and transition into production support.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting U.S. and Canada-centric Workday implementations.

  • Prior involvement in training enablement and production support documentation.

  • Experience operating within complex, multi-workstream, or large enterprise programs.
