Bucharest, Romania | Hybrid – 2 Days per Week in Office

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant – Finance to join our client’s team in Bucharest.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Central professional with strong Finance expertise and hands-on experience with Romanian localisation. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, deliver effective Business Central solutions and support the ongoing development of the platform.

The Role

As a Business Central Functional Consultant – Finance, you will be responsible for providing functional expertise across the finance side of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

A key part of the role will be supporting Romanian localisation requirements, ensuring the Business Central solution meets local financial, accounting and regulatory needs.

You will work across the full functional lifecycle, including requirements gathering, process analysis, configuration, testing, implementation and user support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a focus on Finance.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand financial requirements and translate them into Business Central solutions.

• Support Romanian localisation functionality and requirements within Business Central.

• Analyse and map existing financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Gather and document business and functional requirements.

• Configure Business Central Finance functionality based on business requirements.

• Support core finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, VAT, payments and financial reporting.

• Support integrations between Business Central and other systems where required.

• Develop and execute functional and user acceptance testing.

• Provide training, guidance and ongoing support to Business Central users.

• Work closely with technical consultants and developers to deliver functional solutions.

• Support implementation, upgrades and continuous improvement projects.

• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide appropriate solutions.

• Ensure solutions align with both business requirements and Romanian accounting/localisation requirements.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Strong Finance / Financial Management knowledge within Business Central.

• Hands-on experience with Romanian localisation in Business Central.

• Good understanding of Romanian accounting and financial processes.

• Experience with requirements gathering, business process analysis and functional design.

• Experience with Business Central configuration, testing and implementation.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent Romanian and English communication skills.

• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment.
