About the Role

We are looking for an experienced D365 SCM Manufacturing Consultant to join our client’s team and support the delivery and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations manufacturing solutions across Europe.

This is a great opportunity for a functional consultant with strong D365 F&O / Dynamics AX experience and a solid background in Manufacturing and Production Control to work closely with both business and technical stakeholders on a range of projects.

The Role

As a D365 SCM Manufacturing Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing processes within D365 F&O, from understanding business requirements through to configuration, testing and deployment.

You will work with stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and translate business requirements into effective D365 solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.

• Map and document existing and future-state manufacturing processes.

• Provide functional expertise across D365 F&O Supply Chain Management, with a strong focus on Manufacturing / Production Control.

• Support the configuration and optimisation of D365 F&O manufacturing functionality.

• Assist with solution design and translate business requirements into functional specifications.

• Support system testing, including test planning, execution and defect resolution.

• Provide deployment and go-live support.

• Work closely with technical teams, developers and other functional consultants to deliver solutions.

• Provide guidance and support to end users and business stakeholders.

• Help identify opportunities to improve business processes through the effective use of D365 F&O.

• Support ongoing improvements and enhancements following implementation.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and/or Dynamics AX.

• Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production Control processes.

• Hands-on experience supporting D365 manufacturing implementations and/or projects.

• Experience with requirements gathering and business process mapping.

• Experience with D365 configuration, testing and deployment support.

• The ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• The ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Desirable

• Previous experience working across European or international D365 projects.

• German language skills would be advantageous.

• Experience working across wider D365 SCM functionality.
