We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to support the implementation, configuration and ongoing optimisation of Business Central solutions.

This role requires strong hands-on experience across Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory, alongside the ability to work directly with clients to understand their processes and translate requirements into effective Business Central solutions.

The Role

As a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant, you will work across the full project lifecycle, from initial business analysis and requirements gathering through to configuration, data migration, training, go-live and ongoing support.

You will work closely with clients, users and development teams to ensure Business Central solutions are effective, scalable and aligned with business requirements.

What You Will Do

• Analyse existing business processes and gather requirements directly from clients
• Configure Dynamics 365 Business Central, including Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory modules
• Functionally customise fields, pages, workflows and automations
• Map and migrate data from legacy systems into Business Central
• Lead and support testing and user acceptance activities
• Deliver user training and provide post-go-live support
• Document business processes, requirements and implemented solutions
• Collaborate with developers on API integrations, extensions and technical customisations
• Identify opportunities to improve existing Business Central processes
• Provide ongoing functional support to improve system efficiency, stability and scalability
• Act as a key functional point of contact between clients and technical teams

Who We Are Looking For

• MB-800: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant certification
• Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant
• Excellent knowledge of Finance, Sales, Purchasing and Inventory modules
• Strong Business Central configuration and implementation experience
• Excellent business analysis, process modelling and requirements management skills
• Experience with data migration and mapping
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
• Fluent Italian is required
• Available to work on a freelance basis with a VAT number / Partita IVA

Advantageous

• Knowledge of AL
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform
• Understanding of APIs and Business Central integrations
• Experience collaborating with development teams on extensions and technical customisations
• Previous experience delivering end-to-end Business Central implementations
