About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance Architect to lead end-to-end solution architecture and design across complex finance transformation projects. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the design phase, making key architectural decisions and ensuring solutions align with business requirements and strategic objectives.

This role requires extensive D365 F&O Finance expertise, strong leadership capabilities and the confidence to work independently while guiding functional teams and engaging with senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementations, with a focus on finance.

• Take full ownership of the solution design phase, independently developing architecture, functional designs and implementation approaches.

• Make key architectural decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, robust and aligned with business requirements.

• Lead and oversee functional teams throughout the design and delivery lifecycle.

• Translate complex business requirements into effective finance solution architectures.

• Work closely with customers and senior stakeholders to understand business needs, present recommendations and agree on design decisions.

• Ensure consistency and quality across functional designs, configurations and solution documentation.

• Identify opportunities to optimise finance processes and improve system functionality.

• Provide architectural guidance and expertise throughout implementation, supporting teams in resolving complex design challenges.

• Ensure solutions follow Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O best practices and align with relevant business and technical requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in D365 Finance & Operations finance solution architecture.

• Proven ability to take full ownership of end-to-end solution design and architectural decisions.

• Experience independently leading and delivering the full solution design phase.

• Strong leadership experience, including managing functional teams and overseeing solution design.

• Excellent customer-facing communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.

• Strong understanding of finance processes and their implementation within D365 F&O.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, effective solution architectures.

• Experience within banking, energy or professional services is desirable.

• Fluency in both French and English is essential.
