About the Role

We are looking for an experienced D365 F&O Finance Consultant to join our client’s team and play a key role in delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions.

You will work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into effective D365 F&O solutions, and support implementations from initial discovery through to go-live and beyond.

This is a great opportunity for a consultant who enjoys working closely with clients, solving complex business challenges and taking ownership of D365 Finance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver D365 Finance & Operations implementations and projects, with a focus on Finance.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Configure D365 F&O Finance modules to meet business needs.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support clients throughout the full project lifecycle, from discovery and design through to testing, deployment and go-live.
• Lead or support workshops, demonstrations and training sessions.
• Develop functional specifications and work closely with technical teams on customisations and integrations.
• Support system testing, UAT and issue resolution.
• Provide ongoing functional support and guidance to end users.
• Identify opportunities to optimise financial processes using D365 F&O.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a trusted functional advisor.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance processes and modules.
• Experience delivering or supporting D365 F&O implementations.
• Strong understanding of core financial processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash & Bank Management.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into D365 solutions.
• Comfortable working directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Experience with testing, UAT and go-live activities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projects.

Desirable

• D365 F&O Finance certification.
• Experience with Financial Reporting, Budgeting or Fixed Assets.
• Knowledge of D365 integrations and third-party systems.
• Previous experience working within a consultancy environment.
• Experience across multiple industries or international D365 rollouts.
