About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations projects from initial planning through to go-live.

You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, coordinating functional and technical teams, managing stakeholders and ensuring D365 F&O programmes are delivered successfully against agreed scope, timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) projects.

• Manage projects from initial discovery and planning through design, build, testing, deployment and go-live.

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resources and key milestones.

• Coordinate functional consultants, technical teams, architects, developers and third-party partners.

• Act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders and project delivery teams.

• Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.

• Lead regular project meetings, steering committees and stakeholder updates.

• Ensure clear communication and alignment across business and technical teams.

• Coordinate key delivery activities including data migration, integrations, testing, UAT and cutover.

• Monitor project progress and identify potential delivery risks before they impact key milestones.

• Manage resource requirements and ensure the right expertise is available throughout each project phase.

• Support change management, training and user adoption activities.

• Ensure projects follow agreed governance frameworks and Microsoft implementation best practices.

• Manage post-go-live activities, including hypercare and transition into BAU support.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / Dynamics AX implementations.

• Strong understanding of the full D365 F&O implementation lifecycle.

• Experience delivering complex ERP transformation or implementation programmes.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and delivery frameworks.

• Experience managing cross-functional teams across functional and technical workstreams.

• Strong understanding of key ERP project areas including data migration, integrations, testing, cutover and change management.

• Experience managing project budgets, resources, timelines, risks and dependencies.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior business leaders.

• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities within fast-moving project environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering global or multi-country D365 F&O implementations.

• Previous experience with Dynamics AX to D365 F&O migrations.

• Understanding of D365 F&O modules including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehousing or Projects.

• Experience working with the wider Microsoft ecosystem, including Power Platform and Azure.

• Experience working with Microsoft Partners, end users or large enterprise organisations.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Success by Design methodology.

• Relevant Microsoft, PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or Scrum certifications.
