About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant to support the delivery and optimisation of D365 Business Central solutions.

This role will suit someone with strong Business Central and finance expertise who is confident working directly with stakeholders, understanding their requirements and translating them into effective D365 BC solutions.

The Role

As a D365 BC Finance Functional Consultant, you will work across the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through to configuration, testing, implementation and go-live.

You will act as the bridge between finance teams and technical specialists, ensuring Business Central is configured to meet both operational and financial requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a strong focus on Finance
Gather and analyse business and financial requirements
Lead workshops with finance teams and key stakeholders
Translate business requirements into functional solutions
Configure core finance functionality including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets and Cash Management
Support financial reporting and month/year-end processes
Produce functional specifications and process documentation
Support data migration, testing and UAT
Work closely with developers and technical consultants on integrations and customisations
Provide user training and support throughout implementation and go-live
Identify opportunities to improve and optimise existing Business Central processes
