About the Role

We are looking for a Senior D365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant to support a major international Dynamics 365 implementation across Germany, Italy, Poland and Switzerland.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across D365 SCM, particularly Warehouse Management (WMS) and Sales & Purchase processes. This is a senior-level position for someone who is confident working independently, engaging directly with customers and taking ownership of functional delivery.

German speaking is a must, and the successful candidate will be required to work 3–4 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver functional D365 SCM activities across a major international implementation.

• Work independently to understand business requirements and translate them into effective D365 solutions.

• Configure and implement D365 Supply Chain Management functionality.

• Provide strong functional expertise across Warehouse Management (WMS), Sales and Purchase processes.

• Work closely with stakeholders across Germany, Italy, Poland and Switzerland.

• Lead requirements gathering, workshops and process design sessions.

• Advise customers on best-practice D365 SCM processes and functionality.

• Produce functional specifications and work closely with technical teams and developers.

• Support system testing, user acceptance testing and issue resolution.

• Assist with data migration, cutover and go-live activities.

• Provide guidance and support throughout the implementation lifecycle.

• Work closely with project managers, solution architects and other functional consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliverables with minimal supervision.

Key Skills & Experience

• Senior-level experience working as a D365 SCM Functional Consultant.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.

• Strong experience with Warehouse Management (WMS).

• Experience across Sales and Purchase processes.

• Proven experience delivering D365 implementations.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of functional workstreams.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.

• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into D365 solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• German speaking – essential.

• Willingness and ability to work 3–4 days per week onsite.

Desirable

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM certification.

• Experience working across international or multi-country implementations.

• Experience within a Microsoft Partner or consultancy environment.

• Knowledge of localisation requirements across European countries.

• Experience working alongside technical teams on integrations and complex D365 solutions.
