About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to join a growing Workday practice, delivering planning and performance management solutions to clients across a variety of industries.

You will work closely with stakeholders to design, implement and optimise Workday Adaptive Planning, helping organisations improve forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant who enjoys client-facing work and wants to be part of end-to-end implementation projects.

This is a fully remote position, however applicants must be able to work UK business hours and collaborate effectively with both clients and internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support Workday Adaptive Planning implementation projects.
  • Gather business requirements through client workshops and discovery sessions.
  • Configure Workday Adaptive Planning models, sheets, dashboards and reports.
  • Design budgeting, forecasting and financial planning solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Adaptive Planning and other business systems.
  • Deliver user training, documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide post-go-live support.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, finance teams and technical consultants.
  • Recommend best practice improvements and optimisation opportunities.
  • Support clients through testing, UAT and deployment activities.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience implementing Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
  • Experience configuring models, dashboards, reports and planning sheets.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and planning best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills

  • Workday Adaptive Planning certification.
  • Experience with Workday Financials.
  • Knowledge of Workday HCM.
  • Experience with integrations and data imports.
  • Finance or accounting background.
  • Previous consultancy experience.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end implementation projects.
