Key Requirements: 

  • Proven experience implementing and configuring Workday Payroll solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including PAYG, Superannuation, STP, leave entitlements, and award interpretation.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence Management modules.
  • Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday payroll solutions.
  • Experience configuring payroll calculations, earnings, deductions, tax settings, and payroll processes within Workday.
  • Knowledge of payroll integration design, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting payroll transformation, implementation, or optimisation projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, working with HR, Payroll, Finance, and technical teams.
  • Experience conducting system testing, UAT, defect resolution, and post-go-live support.
  • Ability to analyse complex payroll issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience working within Agile or project-based environments.
