About The Role 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Workday Consultant with expertise across HCM and/or Financials to support a combination of Workday implementation, development and ongoing application management activities.

Over the course of this 12-month contract, you’ll work across both project-based delivery and AMS / TMA activities, supporting the full Workday lifecycle from scope definition and requirements gathering through to configuration, testing, go-live and post-deployment support.

The role will involve working with both French-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders, so strong communication skills in both languages are essential.

Implementation & Project Activities

You’ll be involved across the full delivery lifecycle, including:

• Supporting scope review and definition for Workday initiatives.

• Gathering requirements from business and functional stakeholders.

• Translating requirements into clear functional specifications and solution designs.

• Carrying out Workday configuration and development across HCM and/or Financials.

• Supporting solution design and ensuring configurations align with business requirements and Workday best practices.

• Planning and executing testing activities, including system testing, integration testing and UAT support.

• Identifying, investigating and resolving defects and configuration issues.

• Supporting go-live activities, ensuring the solution is ready for deployment.

• Providing post-go-live support throughout the warranty period.

• Working closely with internal teams, stakeholders and other Workday consultants throughout delivery.

AMS / TMA Activities

Alongside project delivery, you’ll support ongoing Workday application management and continuous improvement, including:

• Analysing and assessing Workday incidents, issues and service requests.

• Investigating root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.

• Carrying out Workday configuration and development changes.

• Supporting testing and validation of system changes.

• Coordinating and supporting Workday release delivery.

• Providing post-deployment support and resolving issues following releases.

• Identifying opportunities to improve existing Workday processes and functionality.

• Maintaining appropriate technical and functional documentation.

Your Profile

We’re looking for a Workday Consultant who can confidently operate across both project delivery and ongoing support environments.

You’ll ideally have:

• Proven experience working as a Workday Consultant.

• Strong hands-on experience across Workday HCM and/or Workday Financials.

• Experience across the Workday implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to go-live.

• Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and development.

• Strong experience with testing, defect management and post-go-live support.

• Experience working within an AMS / TMA environment is highly desirable.

• Good understanding of Workday releases and post-deployment support.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to investigate issues, understand root causes and deliver practical solutions.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider project and support teams.

• Fluent French and English is essential.
