Key Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting Workday Financials (FINs) in a BAU (Business-As-Usual) environment
- Strong hands-on knowledge of core Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Settlement, Expenses, Procurement, and Asset Management
- Experience handling day-to-day operational support, including incident resolution, service requests, and system troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of Workday configuration, business processes, and functional setup
- Ability to analyse, diagnose, and resolve system issues and finance process failures in a timely manner
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end financial close activities within Workday
- Knowledge of reporting tools, calculated fields, and Workday reporting (advanced/custom reports)
- Experience working with integrations and data loads (EIBs, Core Connectors or similar)
- Strong stakeholder management skills, working closely with Finance, IT, and business users
- Ability to document issues, solutions, SOPs, and support procedures clearly and accurately
- Experience working within ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to BAU operations
- Understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit requirements
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple BAU tickets and requests in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Workday Financials experience is essential; certifications are an advantage
